  2. He says blockchain can be decrypted, broken…therefore, become obsolete. However, ‚obsolete‘ is something that will be outdated and replaced with something new.

    1. SiLo Mixing and Mastering

If the buy and sell is the current market cap, then it’s real enough for me, because that’s what matters.

When you sell your btc, try to get more off of people because you claim it’s worth more. See how that goes. See how quickly reality kicks in

    2. How does that make sense? Market cap is just an expression of BTCs value * the number of BTCs held. Surely that number = the amount of fiat invested in bitcoin. What did I miss?

  3. Negative news awesome. That’s usually when we see new booms in crypto. When everyone is saying how great it is in the media it’s time to worry. That’s been the pattern I’ve observed. I saw an article from the worlds largest Marketing firm discussing how they are incorporating blockchain in their digital business just yesterday. Guess we will see.

  4. The quatum computing threat is real and it’s closer than we think, time to invest in IOTA lol. But for real it’s real close.

    1. If you read it somewhere it’s probably a wrong. Like … man never when to the moon over fifty years ago and nuke bombs are fear porn … they don’t exist.

  5. Would the world end or anyone in the middle class care if blockchain or funny money e-coins disappeared? Probably not. Another point, America will always dominate because we have a soul, creativity, and determination, something not in the far east.

    1. Spencer Austin-Martin They don’t need to. They don’t have much to offer in terms of welcoming culture and meritocracy. Everything happens in closed circles. They are depopulating as well from the hyper competitive and stressful lifestyle. The second amendment will ultimately counter our south of the border issues.

    2. I’ve lived in East Asia for over a decade, there is a ton of creativity and innovation there. I wouldn’t underestimate the region. The cultures are different but the ingredients for success are there in a way I don’t see in many other places.

  6. Hmmmm The $1 became obsolete in 1971 when it became backed by nothing. Interestingly enough even though it was backed by gold… gold is WAY more abundant than Bitcoin. Nobody realizes how RARE Bitcoin is compared to anything else of value. There is way more Gold and supply is endless compared to Bitcoin. Silver seems endless but the secret is Silver is rarer than people think and is very cheap.. Diamond supply is even endless and they have a new diamond too… Moissanite!

  7. Bitcoin, as a major cryptocurrency will never become obsolete. It is a great project which is still in the speculation phase. Moreover, the time will show if and how people will accept the idea.

  8. You cannot compare BTC’s past performance with today. When BTC lost 80% of its value in 2013 or 2012 or 2011 – it had nearly 100% market share, it did not have full blocks, it had room to grow, adoption was growing, transaction fees were less than $0.02, it did not have the competition it has today from Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and other coins. So it recovered then multiplied in value on top. Today? The blocks are always full, businesses are dropping BTC, adoption is decreasing, we get transaction backlogs daily which increases fees to over $1. BTCs market share is hovering at 38%. Oh no, I would not be so confident that BTC will recover so quickly. Almost everyone in the BCH community was a HUGE bitcoin btc supporter. We put a lot of money and energy into the ecosystem. Now that we have moved to BCH – so has the money and the energy. BTC in my very humble opinion is actually worth very little, certainly less than $1,000 – and probably not too far from $0. What good is a currency that breaks the more you use it? Yes, a currency with $50 fees is broken.

  9. George Friedman is a dope. Blockchain technology, by default, will change as encryption technology changes. To say Blockchain technology will become obsolete, is to say encryption technology will, also, become obsolete… Not happening.

  10. I trust a time tested geo political forecaster any day over a youtube punk wearing a cheesy t-shirt. Just saying he’s wrong doesn’t offer much in the way of facts bro.
